FAQ
What are the requirements to start flight training?
To start flight training, there is no minimum age. You need to be at least 16 years old to fly solo and 17 for a private pilot license (PPL). Also you will need a valid medical license (class 2) to fly solo.
How long does it take to obtain a Private Pilot License (PPL)?
Depending how much time you can spend on flight training. Typically its somewhere between 3-12 months.
How much does flight training cost?
The cost depends on the type of training program, aircraft rental, instructor fees, and additional expenses like books, exams, and landing fees. Contact us for a detailed price breakdown.
Do I need prior flying experience to start training?
No prior flying experience is needed. Our courses are designed for beginners as well as experienced pilots looking to advance their skills.
What happens if the weather is bad on my scheduled training day?
If weather conditions are unsuitable for flying, we will reschedule your lesson or conduct ground training, including simulator sessions and theoretical instruction.
Do You Offer Trial Flights/Proeflessen/Rondvluchten?
Yes, we offer trial flights (proeflessen) and scenic flights (rondvluchten)!
Trial Flights (Proeflessen): If you’re considering flight training, a trial lesson allows you to experience what it’s like to be a pilot. You’ll fly with an experienced instructor who will guide you through basic maneuvers and even let you take control of the aircraft.
Scenic Flights (Rondvluchten – Trial Lesson Light): If you’re looking for a unique experience, we offer sightseeing flights over beautiful landscapes. While this is not a full lesson, you will still get a feel for flying and enjoy stunning aerial views. Perfect for special occasions or just to experience the thrill of flying!
Do you offer flight simulator training?
Yes, we use state-of-the-art flight simulators to enhance training, practice instruments or to get used to our glass cockpit.
Can I rent an aircraft after obtaining my license?
Yes, once you have your PPL and meet the rental requirements, you can rent our aircraft for solo flights or trips.
What career opportunities are available after training?
After obtaining your PPL, you can continue training for a Commercial Pilot License (CPL) or become a flight instructor. If you are looking for recreational flying, you can rent an aircraft and enjoy private flying experiences.
In what Language Is The Flight Training Given?
Our instructors can give flight training in English or Nederlands.
I Have Already A License Can I Still Sign Up For Flight Training?
Yes, absolutely! Even if you already have a license, you can sign up for additional flight training. We offer advanced courses, refresher training, cross country flying and proficiency checks to help you enhance your skills. Whether you want to transition to a different aircraft, improve specific maneuvers, or prepare for an advanced certification, we can tailor the training to your needs.
